Receive hands-on tools to create fundraising for your own projects.

Create your own “Case for Support” and overcome challenges along the way.

Learn how you can motivate volunteers and teams in an engaging and exciting way.

Starting with the definition of Fundraising, this course will bring you the basics you need to know to organize a successful fundraising activity. You will develop your own “Case of Support” and pitch it to the audience – challenging questions included. In addition, you will learn insights from the successful Kiwanis International campaign, which raised US$110 million in 5 years – US$12 million alone in Europe – managed by the course instructor Ruth Gabler-Schachermayr. More importantly you will also learn about team strategies and how to motivate volunteers, a highly challenging task!

Objectives:

  • Learning to define “Fundraising” as well as “Case of Support” and developing a successful case
  • Pitching in front of the audience, and receiving immediate feedback and being challenged on the status quo, thus learning how to overcome obstacles
  • Being able to incorporate successful fundraising tools from other projects and best-practise examples
  • Receiving insights into a US$110 million-dollar fundraising campaign and how to motivate volunteers based on setting targets and saying “Thank You!”.
