Learn how you can motivate volunteers and teams in an engaging and exciting way.
Starting with the definition of Fundraising, this course will bring you the basics you need to know to organize a successful fundraising activity. You will develop your own “Case of Support” and pitch it to the audience – challenging questions included. In addition, you will learn insights from the successful Kiwanis International campaign, which raised US$110 million in 5 years – US$12 million alone in Europe – managed by the course instructor Ruth Gabler-Schachermayr. More importantly you will also learn about team strategies and how to motivate volunteers, a highly challenging task!

Ruth Gabler-Schachermayr is fundraising manager and strategy consultant and just founded her own company CareerMum to support mums on their maternity leave. Ruth has delivered workshops in leadership, team building, volunteering and project management. In addition, she has been a trainer at the JCI European Academy since 2016.
